Bangkok’s IMPACT Arena in Muang Thong Thani will host the World Travel & Culture Expo from 29 to 31 October 2026, bringing together tourism boards, airlines, hotel brands, and cultural organisations from across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and South America.
What to Expect
The three-day event runs both trade-only sessions and public consumer days. Expect exhibitor stands representing national tourism authorities from across Asia alongside European and long-haul destinations, live cultural performances, regional food demonstrations, and on-the-spot flight and hotel booking deals.
For travellers still planning future trips, this kind of event is one of the few places in the region where you can compare destinations, collect printed guides, and book packages directly with operators face-to-face. Several airlines are expected to offer promotional fares exclusively for expo visitors.
Getting There
IMPACT Arena is in Muang Thong Thani, roughly 12 km north of central Bangkok. The BTS Skytrain does not reach the venue directly. The most practical options are:
- MRT to Tao Poon then a short taxi or motorcycle taxi to the venue
- Direct taxi from Asok, Victory Monument, or Mo Chit — allow 30–45 minutes depending on traffic
Parking is available on-site for visitors arriving by car.
Combining with a Bangkok Stay
October is a good time to be in Bangkok. The wettest part of the rainy season typically passes by mid-October, and temperatures sit in the low 30s — warm but manageable. If you are planning a broader Thailand trip around the expo, Chiang Mai and the north are also in good shape in late October, with clear skies and comfortable hiking conditions.
